My name is Mallory, I'm a local photographer in the Jackson, Michigan area.
I have been working in photography for close to four years. I began my interest in photography as a model, which has helped me capture some great images because I am able to help coach you when you need it.
I am looking to expand my portfolio and photograph weddings, senior pictures, portraits, head shots, and even family photos. I have had the opportunity to work with a wide range of people and each have taught me something different about the style of photography I choose.
I typically shoot in a 'photo journalistic' style. This means I use angles, cropping, focus, and editing software to get a unique, but classic look out of a picture. I am not, however, limited to only one style, and often enjoy the challenges that clients have thrown at me in terms of their creative ideas.
I do not work out of a studio, but rather travel across the area to get great pictures in various natural settings. Parks, lakes, beaches, and downtown areas all make great places to have pictures taken. Natural light also gives a much more realistic end result.
